Breakeven Drop Syndrome of Luck ahead Of New Release

The Road to Breakeven’s New Album Finally Opens with “Syndrome of Luck”

The New Single and Music Video from the Athenian Quintet Has Just Been Released by Venerate Industries!

With their new album, “Entitled Human Machines,” expected on October 6 from Venerate Industries, Breakeven communicates their new musical direction with “Syndrome of Luck”—a three-minute, clear sonic and social statement presented through sound and image. Musically, they maintain their punk roots while enriching them with dulled riffs and hardcore elements, creating a “somewhat” metal aesthetic through the rhythm section and vocals. Visually, the music video presents the quintet’s stance and intensity against the security of privilege, their anger regarding social inequalities affecting vulnerable groups, their opposition to, and need for solidarity against, the rhetoric of hatred and power that perpetually lead to lack of accountability and justice.

"Syndrome of Luck" was recorded at Ignite Studios by Giorgos Christoforidis, who undertook the mixing, mastering, and production of the track, while pre-production was conducted by Michalis Meleteas at Bombtrack Studios. The music video was directed and produced by Manos Georgakopoulos, with additional cinematography by Panagiotis Tsalavrettas (Napan Studio), gaffer work by Manos Giacoumakis and Giorgos Rados, and makeup artistry by Angeliki Trikogya.
